Snoop Dogg shares heartbreaking post after the death of his infant grandson Kai Love09/28/2019
Snoop Dogg – whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Junior – took to the picture-sharing site and shared a heartfelt message to say that he has “chosen to trust God”. His youngest grandchild Kai Love was born on September 15 and died on September 25, but the cause of death is currently unknown. The 47-year-old rapper shared a video of a text conversation revealing that he’d turned to his faith during this difficult time. In the video clip, it read: “If you’re facing something you don’t understand choose to trust God.
“Remember all He has done for you. His ways are higher than ours. He is always good.”(sic)
Fans flocked to comment on the post, with many offering their condolences to the rapper.
One person said: “Prayers up for you and the family.”
Another person commented: “Sorry for your loss.”
While a third person added: “Much love Snoop my condolences to you and your family.”
The post comes after Snoop’s eldest son Corde Broadus, 25, announced the tragic news in a social media post on Friday.
“My son Kai brought so much love and positivity into this world,” he wrote on Instagram.
“His energy will live on and these 10 days of love will always be special to us. Let’s all cherish life and those we love while we are here. Thank you.”
Corde has two other children – a daughter named Eleven and a son named Zion.
Yesterday, Snoop’s wife Shante Broadus, 47, recorded a heartbreaking video of herself in tears as she sang along to the song The Love We Had Stays On My Mind on Instagram.
She posted: “To My Fifth G Baby Kai Love 9-15-19/9-25-19.”
Shante also shared a video of herself dancing to Anita Baker on social media and thanked those that have reached out to offer condolences.
“Thank You For All Your Well Wishes I See And Feel Them All,” she wrote.
“The Only Person That Could Get Me Thru This Mood Is #AnitaBaker #LeadMeToLove #BLE #Pafoooorm #BabyKaiLove #MamaTae.”(sic)
The cause of Kai Love’s death is unknown.
