Rush have unveiled an official trailer for the new concert film Cinema Strangiato, which hits theaters on August 21 for a one-night only cinematic screening.

The film features highlights from the band’s final R40 North American tour and is being jointly brought to cinemas by Concord Music Group, Anthem Entertainment and Trafalgar Releasing.

Cinema Strangiato will takes viewers behind the scenes of Rush’s 2015 “R40” 40th-anniversary tour, and will feature song performances, unreleased soundcheck and backstage footage, and new interviews with producer Nick Raskulinecz and Rush fans Tom Morello, Billy Corgan, Taylor Hawkins, violinist Jonathan Dinklage and more.

Rush singer-bassist Geddy Lee recently said he is excited for fans to see some new clips from the band’s R40 tour.

“Trafalgar Releasing is thrilled to bring Rush: Cinema Strangiato 2019 to theatres around the globe for the first of what we’re hoping will become an annual event – bringing fans together to experience a celebration of one of the world’s most popular rock bands,” said Kymberli Frueh, Senior vice president for acquisitions at Trafalgar Releasing.
