Former Good Morning Britain presenter Piers Morgan, 56, is no stranger to sharing his thoughts about the coronavirus vaccine and the ongoing pandemic on his Twitter page. In his latest post, he blasted those against having the vaccine, which is said to be the safest way to be protected against the virus.
People who refuse to get jabbed but whine about lockdowns really are a special breed of stupid selfish pr***s
In view of his 7.9 million followers, he wrote: “People who refuse to get jabbed but whine about lockdowns really are a special breed of stupid selfish pr***s.”
Many Twitter users flocked to his post to share their thoughts.
One commented: “When the next wave hits, only unvaccinated people should have to isolate.”
A second disagreed: “I shouldn’t be forced to be injected or stay inside my home… facts.”
A third added: “I’m still amazed there are so many people willing to take a gamble on an unproven vaccine with very little testing.”
“Totally agree just get jabbed and stop whining,” a fourth backed Piers.
His tweet comes after he accused Prime Minister Boris Johnson of “shameful dithering” amid Indian variant concerns.
The journalist shared an article from The Times, which suggested at least 20,000 passengers could have been infected with a strain of coronavirus while allowed to enter Britain.
A Government source told them: “It’s very clear that we should have closed the border to India earlier and that Boris did not do so because he didn’t want to offend Modi.”
Piers wrote: “More shameful dithering by our Prime Minister – @BorisJohnson has done this throughout the pandemic, constantly leaving it too late to act, with deadly consequences.”
A Government spokesperson told Express.co.uk: “We have some of the toughest border measures in the world.
“We took precautionary action to ban travel from India on 23rd April, six days before this variant was put under investigation and two weeks before it was labelled as of concern.

“We have since sped up our vaccination programme and put in enhanced local support to curb transmission.
“Prior to India being placed on the red list in April anyone coming to the UK had to test negative and quarantine for 10 days.”
The father-of-four went on to urge his followers to take the Indian variant “very seriously” amid growing fears.
Three new Covid variants first detected in India have been found in the UK.
Currently, the variant B.1.617.2. is listed as one “of concern”.
At a Downing Street briefing, the Prime Minister said of the new variant: “I have to level with you that this new variant could pose a serious disruption to our progress and could make it more difficult to move to step four in June.”
Boris had initially planned to lift all legal limits on social contact by 21 June.
The latest stage of lockdown restrictions were lifted yesterday.
