Michelle is doing well

It was great to hear Michelle Heaton is doing so well since checking into rehab.

I’ve been in touch with her husband Hugh and I was so glad to hear she’s doing well.

I have a lot of time for them both and they have our full support.

Film dreams coming true

You may have seen on my Instagram that I am working on a brand new film.

My friend Fredi Nwaka, who directed me in On The Other Foot, is also directing this film and it’s going to be amazing.

I’m really moving in the direction I want to go with film. Movies have always been the big dream for me and what I’ve wanted to do.

With The Inheritance, the first short film I filmed a few years ago I was very fortunate to get nominated for best actor at the North Hollywood Film Festival and the film was nominated for best short film, so I’m focused.

Elliot is inspiring

Actor Elliot Page has been praised for sharing a picture of himself bare-chested for the first time since revealing he was transgender and having top surgery.

It was great to see because he is breaking away from the ‘norm’ and doing what makes him happy, which will have inspired so many others.

It’s so important because you only get one life so you should live it and identify however you want to and nobody else should judge that.

It’s also Pride Month this month, which I think is very important to celebrate as everyone is equal and should be free to love who they want without being negatively labelled or prejudiced. Love is love.

A wheelie good time

I loved filming Michael McIntyre’s game show The Wheel recently.

It’s always a good laugh to do these kind of shows. Of course my specialist subject was 90s music!

I’m not sure when my episode is going to be on but keep an eye out as it was a lot of fun. It was also great to be on Good Morning Britain discussing Grease The Musical.

It was strange without Piers [Morgan], he really is brilliant at his job.

Obviously I really like Susanna [Reid] and it was great to see Bill Turnbull looking so well.

I think Bill is a great fit for GMB as he’s also brilliant at his job but completely different to Piers.

Rest in power, George

I cannot actually believe it’s been a year since George Floyd’s death.

While there has been a lot of movement in the right direction since and police officer Derek Chauvin has been found guilty of his murder, there is still more to do when it comes to tackling systemic racism.

It’s been great to see change and see people standing up for what they believe in, and hopefully this is just the start.
