Peter Andre comes out in support of snakey Curtis Pritchard after brutal week

Peter Andre has decided to throw his weight behind new Love Island villain Curtis Pritchard even after all the drama with Amy Hart this week.

The Mysterious Girl singer admitted it was an odd choice for a favourite Islander, especially after Curtis cruelly broke Amy's heart by telling her he was no longer interested.

Sharing a picture of the professional ballroom dancer on Instagram , Pete wrote: "This guy has taken honesty to a new level. Am I the only one that can’t help but love this guy. #loveisland .

"Obviously feel sorry for Amy. Nice girl," he added.

His words of support came as Curtis dealt the final devastating blow to Amy's chance of finding love with him in the villa.

Viewers watched on in horror as the 23-year-old hunk brutally told his now-ex 'half-girlfriend' that he no longer wanted to work on their relationship.

Amy demanded to know what was wrong with her, and Curtis didn't hold back as he blamed her lack of confidence.

And he didn't stop there – he went on to say he couldn't see himself marrying her or having kids with her.

"It isn't how it was cos we're not in a relationship anymore," he told her.

"Are you upset we're no longer together?" Amy asked during their excruciating chat.

"Honestly? I feel like a weight has been lifted off my shoulders," said Curtis.

Determined to get to the bottom of his change of heart, Amy pressed him further.

"That's interesting, because last night the way I was going to end the conversation was to give you a second chance, and I was going to work bloody hard on our relationship. Which is what I thought you wanted, but it obviously wasn't," she told him.

"I thought what we had was too good to throw away without even trying, and if it didn't work then at least we tried. I thought that's what you wanted as well."

Viewers slammed Curtis for being "cruel" in his feedback, with one tweeting that he was a "coward" for not being more open with Amy in the beginning of their romance.
