Orlando Bloom downplays size of his manhood in those paddle boarding pics

There’s a few things that probably pop into your head when you think of Orlando Bloom – Lord Of The Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean… and paddle boarding.

Back in 2016, Orlando and his package went viral worldwide after he was pictured proudly paddle boarding naked with now-fiancee Katy Perry in Sardinia.

As Katy sat cross legged on the board in a bikini, the actor knelt behind her wearing a cap, sunglasses and his birthday suit while rowing away, all with his penis out.

And while many fans were impressed by the display, Orlando, 42, has likely become the first man in history to downplay the size of his dong.

Speaking to Howard Stern on his radio show, the Carnival Row star insisted: ‘It is really not that big. Things are expanded on cameras with a big optical lens. It is an optical illusion.’

Discussing the embarrassing picture set, Orlando explained: ‘The publicist called to say, “That is not the worst of it. First of all there were pictures with a block over it”.

‘And you make some jokes like, “Have you got a black box big enough to cover it”. And then you suddenly realise somebody is going to uncover the black box because they are going to be paid enough.

‘It’s a triple whammy – photos, black box then no black box.’

Orlando’s fiancee Katy, 34, previously said she wasn’t surprised by her man’s nudity, telling The Project: ‘He is quite the exhibitionist, he’s an adventure junkie as well.’

But the actor was forced to text his ex-wife Miranda Kerr, with whom he shares eight-year-old son Flynn, to warn her that pics of his manhood were about to splashed all over the internet.

Back in 2016, the model addressed the palaver on Aussie radio station Kyle & Jackie O, saying: ‘Oh my god, he text me and he was like, “Um, I’m really embarrassed. Some photos are coming out. Just thought I should let you know”.

‘And I was like, “Hmmmm … right, what were you thinking? Seriously, what were you thinking?”‘

Probably that his manhood wouldn’t become an internet sensation.

Orly is currently starring in Amazon Prime’s fantasy series Carnival Row alongside Cara Delevingne.
