Novak Djokovic Defeats Roger Federer to Win Wimbledon 2019

Novak Djokovic won the men’s singles final over Roger Federer at Wimbledon!

The 32-year-old Serbian tennis player defeated the 37-year-old Swiss star during two straight sets on Sunday (July 14) at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in London, United Kingdom.

Novak won the championship’s first ever fifth-set tiebreaker, 7-3, after they played to 12-12 in the final set.

This was also his fifth victory in a row over Roger, and his fifth straight in Grand Slam play. Roger last defeated Novak back in 2012.
