Kelly Brook forced to rescue Boris Johnson after thumb wars game turned vicious07/24/2019
Kelly Brook was once forced to rescue Boris Johnson, after the new Prime Minister dislocated his thumb while playing thumb wars.
There is just so much to unpack there.
The model made the admission during her appearance on Heart Breakfast, alongside co-host JK.
Recalling a dinner party she went to with the Conservative Party leader, the 39-year-old began: ‘That evening we were all having drinks, a bit of party, dancing, and he started play fighting with some of the other guests.
‘And it all started getting a bit out of hand and his [now ex] wife came over to me and said “Kelly, Kelly they’re getting very rough with each other, they’re hurting Boris, can you go and do something?”’
We’re not sure Kelly would be our first port of call if a playfight was getting too rough, but anyway…
‘So I was chosen to go and split up this little kind of fracas between Boris and one of these other guys at the party, and they had been playing thumb wars or something,’ she continued.
‘I’m not joking, they were playing thumb wars… Our Prime Minister was playing thumb wars, and he lost so badly that he actually dislocated his thumb.
‘He was very upset about it so I had to comfort him and get frozen peas from the freezer and ice his thumb.’
We have so many questions… Who beat Boris at thumb wars? Why was Kelly the one to sort things out? Why didn’t he go to the hospital to sort his thumb out instead of grabbing a bag of peas?
With Boris set to reshuffle his cabinet over the next few days, we demand Kelly gets a seat.
Y’know, just in case any thumb wars with Donald Trump or Jeremy Corbyn get out of hand…
Johnson was elected as the new Prime Minister yesterday, beating Jeremy Hunt in a Conservative Party vote.
However, he might not have the seat for long if Rylan Clark-Neal has anything to do with it.
The X Factor star turned Celebrity Big Brother favourite has thrown his hat into the ring, offering to take the job over.
And we don’t think we’d mind this alternative…
Taking to Twitter after the news broke, he simply wrote: ‘If there’s a general election I’m running.’
We’ll dust off our #TeamRylan banners from his X Factor stint…
Tune in to Heart Breakfast with JK and Kelly Brook (in for Jamie Theakston and Amanda Holden), weekdays from 06:30 – 10:00.
