Royal fans have been left impressed with Prince William and Kate Middleton's ability to "ignore the drama" unfolding following the release of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's controversial Netflix docuseries trailer.

The Prince and Princess of Wales, both 40, are currently in Boston, Massachusetts in America for the Earthshot Prize awards, where they've gone everywhere from courtside seats at an NBA game to greeting fans at the Boston Harbour Defences Engagement.

However, on 1 December, Harry, 37, and his 41 year old wife Meghan's trailer for their upcoming docuseries was released by streaming giant Netflix, which appeared to overshadow the royal couple's US tour.

William and Kate haven't allowed it to dampen their time across the pond though as just one day later they've posted new snaps depicting their second day over there.

In the caption, they told their 13.1million followers: "…The Prince and Princess of Wales heard about the innovative climate resilience solutions that will help protect East Boston from rising sea levels.

"Their Royal Highnesses also travelled to the neighbouring city of Chelsea to visit Roca, a non-profit organisation focusing on high-risk young people between the ages of 16-24 years old at the centre of urban violence.

"Back in Boston, The Prince and Princess visited Greentown Labs to learn about the latest climate innovations that are being developed in the city."

Fans have since praised the couple in the comments section as one person shared: "Ignoring the drama and proving they are truly royal. It’s not about how you feel inside, it’s about how you represent what you stand for. Impressive."

Another said: "I truly admire the Prince and Princess of Wales. Such class and dignity." alongside three clapping hands emojis.

A third wrote: "Prince William and Princess Catherine are an amazing Senior Royal couple… dignity, class and respect!!"

While a fourth added: "Very happy to have the Prince & Princess of Wales in the US! I so admire their grace & dignity in every situation."

The trailer for Harry and Meghan's docuseries, which teases explosive revelations, sees Harry say: "No one sees what’s happening behind closed doors."

He adds: "I had to do everything I could to protect my family," as intimate black and white photos appear on screen – from their wedding day back in 2018 to snaps of Meghan in tears.

The minute long clip end as Meghan appears and tells the interviewer: “When the stakes were this high, doesn’t it make more sense to hear our story from us?"

Harry and Meghan’s Netflix show is set to air next Thursday, 8 December.
