A Place In The Sun presenter Jasmine Harman struggled to hold back the tears, as the property expert posted a candid video on Instagram today. The Channel 4 host filmed herself sitting alone in her car, as she shared her anguish ahead of a photoshoot.

The 45-year-old confessed that she wasn’t “feeling herself” and claimed to be on the verge of having a panic attack.

Taking to her Instagram stories, the small-screen star explained she wasn’t cut out for being at home for long periods of time and spoke candidly about the struggles with her weight.

It comes as the proud vegan previously shared that she’s “let things slip” as she admitted to gaining weight while being holed up at home during the third nationwide lockdown.

In view of her 70,000 followers, Jasmine began: “Hey guys. So I’m out of the house. I’ve actually got in the car and driven somewhere for the first time in about two months.

“Because I’ve got a photoshoot today, which is exciting but at the same time I’m slightly dreading it, because I’m just not really feeling myself.

“I know in my head, I’m going to go in there. It’ll be fine. It’ll be great. The makeup artist will do great things.”

Jasmine then began to get choked up, as she fought to hold back the tears.

She said: “But it’s really hard to be confident when you’ve got this voice in your head saying, ‘You’re too fat, you’re going to look fat in the photos. None of the clothes that the stylist has brought will fit you.

“‘You won’t look good in any of those clothes. Or you’re too old.'”

She went on: “All of these stupid things. I know that it’s stupid what’s going on in my head but it’s almost bringing me to having a panic attack sitting outside.

“It’s absolutely ridiculous but that is because I just don’t feel like me at the moment.

“I put that down to the fact that I’m not cut out to be sat down in one place stuck at home hiding away, like some sort of hermit. It’s not me.”

“I really feel at the moment I don’t feel like me. I just wanted to say thank you to everyone who has supported me.”

Jasmine struggled to contain her emotions as she began to get tearful following her admission.

“I’m sorry,” she explained. “This is not the way to go into a photoshoot.”

In a follow-up clip, Jasmine forced herself to stop crying and “pulled herself together”, as she assured fans that she is doing well.

The Channel 4 presenter commented: “I’m fine.

“I’m going to look great but this is the sort of s**t that is going on inside my head and I’m sure I’m not alone.”

Jasmine finished: “For anybody else out there about to have a wobble, don’t worry you’ll be OK.”

A Place In The Sun airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 3pm.
