Helen Flanagan has revealed she's returned back to the comfort of her own home after giving birth her son Charlie.

The Coronation Street star, who gave birth to her little bundle of joy on 25 March, took to her Instagram stories to share a photo of herself in the passenger seat of a car as she smiled to the camera.

Over this, she wrote: "Going home with our beautiful baby what an amazing feeling. It was so sunny," followed by a stars emoji.

Back at home, she shared a second snap of herself wearing her glasses as she cradled her baby boy, who wore a blue and white striped top, in her arms.

Helen also took to her Instagram feed to share a black-and-white photo of herself taken after she gave birth to Charlie, which footballer Scott had shared last week when he proudly announced that their third child had arrived on his birthday.

Opening up on the birth of her son, she called the labour "magical", despite not having a water birth as planned.

She captioned the beautiful shot: “One of my proudest moments is giving birth to Charlie I was so lucky I had the loveliest midwife looking after me that day and Scott and I are so grateful to her for the safe delivery of our boy.

“She was amazing and held my hand with Scott through it. I wanted a water birth like I had with Delilah.

"Delilahs birth was so quick, only two hours and really straight forward. I had to have my waters broken with Charlie though and he pooed so I gave birth on the bed and didn’t let go of my gas and air for a second.

"I feel like I can do anything now and it was really magical. He was 8lbs 4.5oz which is mine and Scott’s biggest baby our girls were really petite.
