Gemma Atkinson and boyfriend Gorka Marquez take first outing without baby daughter Mia – but only last eight minutes as they miss her too much

Gemma Atkinson took to Instagram to reveal that she and Gorka Marquez had gone on a coffee run, but had to return home after eight minutes as they missed their baby girl too much.

Former Emmerdale actress Gemma, 34, shared Instagram updates on the car journey back from Starbucks, as she said: "First outing, left little Mia at home. WE went to Starbucks. I managed to go there but I couldn't sit in.

"I wanted to come straight back home. So we’ve been out all in all about eight minutes."

The new mum smiled at her Strictly star boyfriend Gorka as she opened up on her first time away from her daughter.

Gemma continued to say: "But I just miss her loads, I want to go home to my little bestie.”

Brandishing her Starbucks, she reasoned: “It is nice to have some fresh air and some fresh coffee – decaff still."

It comes after Gemma and Gorka finally unveiled their gorgeous baby girl to the world after welcoming her on 4 July.

The happy couple, who met during their stint on the BBC dancing show, also revealed their little girl's moniker for the first time – as Mia Louise Marquez.

In a sweet Instagram post, Gemma and Gorka confirmed the name alongside an image of their newborn.

Days after becoming a first-time mother, Gemma had thanked her fans for their sweet messages, as she also described her baby girl as “wonderful”.

She wrote on Instagram: “Thank you all for your lovely messages. Our daughter is so wonderful.

"I’m slowly getting to grips with motherhood, learning loads and I’m loving being in this little cocoon with her.

"I feel extremely lucky to be on this journey with mine and Gorks little human".
