The entrepreneur has caused public uproar due to her offensive tweet, directed at Chris Whitty.

She replied to a tweet from Good Morning Britain that said: “If you have a 12 to 15 year old, are you happy for them to receive the COVID vaccine?”

Rachel said: “Child Abuse.

“Whitty will hang for this.

“#CaeseandDesist.”

The comments escalated quickly, with many outraged by the entrepreneur’s behaviour.

Femi, a writer for the Independent said: “Could you please unfollow me.”

Sillyshib replied: “If anything happens to Chris Whitty, you are going to find yourself in deep, deep trouble.”

LPiarcey said: “@metpoliceuk this is a clear threat to Chris Whitty and incitement to others to harm him.

“Please take immediate action to protect him and to stop this person from further incitement.”

Adding to this, MartinRemains said: “@TwitterSupport this account has made a death threat to a public figure who might fear for his life in the current environment of deliberate disinformation.

“Why is this account not suspended?”

A lot of criticism has been aimed at England’s Chief Medical Officer over the last year.

He was even assaulted by two men, who had been on an anti-vax march, as he walked through a park in London earlier this year.

It was the fourth time a report had been made to police alleging harassment against Chris.

Rachel founded the UK gift company, Red Letter Days, and was one of the first investors on Dragons Den.

Her offensive tweets were fuelled by ministers announcing this week that children aged 12-15 will be offered the COVID jab.

Chris and other chief medical officers recommended the rollout.

Responding to the public backlash, Rachel sent a further tweet this morning to her 16,400 followers.

She said: “People are saying Whitty is just doing his job. The bigger question is Who is he being bankrolled by?”
