Charley Webb gives birth: Emmerdale actress welcomes third child with husband Matthew Wolfenden

Charley Webb has given birth to her third child with Matthew Wolfenden, she has confirmed.

The Emmerdale star revealed she has welcomed her new arrival in a touching Instagram post.

Sharing an image of the tot with her 282,000 Instagram followers, she wrote: “BaByWoLf #3 has joined the crazy gang. We’re in a bubble of newborn’ness heaven.”

Charley and husband Matthew, who she wed in 2018, already share sons Buster, 9, and Bowie, 3.

The happy news comes just weeks after Matthew revealed how “brutal” his wife’s third pregnancy had been.

Speaking on Loose Women, he said: “Charley is a big fan of giving birth, but not pregnancy itself, it's really odd.

“Unfortunately, pregnancy for her has been brutal this time round. She's been ill from the get go and is still is sick now.”

The actor also revealed how the pair would love to have a baby girl, but admitted that there is a long line of boys in his family.

He continued: “We'd love a girl, but you know the old cliche, we just hope for a healthy baby.

“We have a long line of boys in my family, so it's not looking likely, but who knows!”

His comments came after Charley revealed to OK! magazine that she’s been suffering with morning sickness and another medical condition.

She said: “I still get waves of sickness but I’ve also been diagnosed with SPD [symphysis pubis dysfunction, which affects your pelvis and back].

“It’s when your muscles have relaxed too much ready for the birth. It’s agony.”
