Carol Vorderman looked stunning in a clingy blue dress when she headed to Leeds today to attend an event. The Countdown legend was pictured at a stadium in Headingley and shared an amusing anecdote about her last visit to the area.
The 60-year-old maths whizz said she hadn’t been there since the 1980s, around about the time she was starring in the Channel 4 quiz show.
Carol admitted that she kissed a policeman for a bet during the outing.
This time, the TV star was all dressed up to attend an award ceremony.
The mum-of-two joked that she had “scrubbed” up well.
Carol showcased her incredible figure in a tight blue dress which clung to her curves for the occasion.
The knee-length number featured a cut out detail at the bust.
The Welsh-born star wore her dark shoulder-length tresses in waves cascading over her shoulders and completed her look with a pair of black strappy heels.
Glamorous make-up enhanced her good looks.
“I [love] Headingley,” she wrote online alongside a picture of herself overlooking the arena.
For the social media snap, she covered her face with a heart-eyed emoji to reiterate her point.
She then went on to recall her last visit.
“Last time I was here #80s… I ended up snogging a policeman for a bet,” she added intriguingly, with no further details.

Revealing the reason behind her 2021 visit, Carol continued: “Here for the @sodexogroup awards.
“Get me all posh and everything,” she continued drawing attention to her ensemble, before adding a thumbs-up emoji.
She went on to tag her hair and make-up artist into the post.
“… heels on and @mrrichmond ha scrubbed me up well.”
“Happy Yorkshire Thursday,” she captioned a third picture, which she shared with her 110,000 Instagram followers.
In an earlier post, Carol told her followers that she had lived in Leeds for years.
In fact, she was living in the city when she got the job on Countdown after finishing university.
The presenter has since said that her mum saw an advert for the job in The Yorkshire Evening Post and sent off the application on her behalf.
After landing the role on the Channel 4 show in 1982, Carol stayed for 26 years.
