On “The Bachelorette,” Tyler Cameron is still in the running to win star Hannah Brown’s heart. Off camera, he’s gearing up for a court appearance for a car crash that occurred shortly after the reality show wrapped up filming.

He’s scheduled to be in court August 6 in Palm Beach County, Florida, for a pre-trial hearing, according to court documents.

Police say the 24-year-old Jupiter native rear-ended a pickup truck while driving in his hometown May 21, local outlets Sun Sentinel and local10.com report. The crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. and led the truck to collide with another car, causing about $15,000 in damages between the three vehicles. Police gave Cameron a traffic citation for careless driving.

“The Bachelorette” typically wraps up filming in mid-May, close to the time the show premieres.

Who will walk away from the season finale with a fiancé? Aside from Cameron, it could be Peter Weber, the 27-year-old pilot with a sweet, funny personality and an affinity for windmills, or Jed Wyatt, a 25-year-old singer/songwriter from Nashville.
